BAYADA Hospice Holds Free Bereavement Support Groups
BAYADA Hospice of Media, PA will hold a series of free bereavement support groups for those aged 21 or over who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, express feelings, and receive support within a safe and nurturing environment.
“The loss of a loved one can be one of life’s most difficult challenges,” said Linda Trout, RN, director of BAYADA Hospice. “Coming together with others who have experienced loss can provide comfort and healing, and can help people get back to a sense of normalcy.”
The support groups will be held on the following Thursday afternoons: February 7, March 7, April 4, May 16, and June 6. They will take place from 1:30-3:00 pm at the Middletown Free Library, 21 N. Pennell Road, in Media, PA. They will be led by licensed clinical social workers and spiritual counselors from BAYADA Hospice, who will provide information about the grieving process and offer strategies for coping with change and moving forward.
