County Earns State Award for Refinery Efforts
Delaware County Council Vice Chairman Mario J. Civera Jr. went to Harrisburg Tuesday, Feb. 12, to accept the C. Alan Walker Award for Public-Private Partnership in recognition of the county's efforts to find new economic opportunities and save jobs at the region's refineries. The award is presented by the Department of Community and Economic Development and named for the DCED secretary. Marcus Hook and Tinicum boroughs were also recognized.
