MEDIA–On Monday, Jan. 7, Florence Mullin was sworn in as Assistant District Attorney at the Delaware County Courthouse. She took oath before Judge Barry C. Dozor and was joined by District Attorney Jack Whelan and her husband John. Mullin will be serving the Office of the District Attorney as Assistant District Attorney, Special Victims Unit.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the citizens of Delaware County, working with the District Attorney's Office and I am looking forward to getting started," said Mullin.

Mullin came to Pennsylvania from North Carolina in 2009. Prior to her move to Delaware County, she practiced law in North Carolina for 17 years. She graduated from Western Carolina University in 1983 with a business degree in business law.

For the last seven years of practice, Mullin was the Senior Attorney representing the County Department of Social Services in child abuse, neglect and dependency issues, child support issues, and adult practice services. Mullin and her husband John reside in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
