Indian Lane Students Hold Mock Presidential Election
395 students at Indian Lane Elementary School voted in a mock U.S. Presidential election on Monday, November 5th. Teachers Fran Blanchette and Terry Haskell set up a survey on our website and deployed several laptop computers on the stage where students voted. Parent volunteers, led by Rita Kutty, monitored the election and assisted students who needed help. Here are the results: Barack Obama: 63% (248 votes), Mitt Romney: 38% (149 votes).
