$250 Coat Stolen from Sears, Police Say

Aggravated Assault—1000 block of W. Baltimore Pike at about 11:37 p.m. on Feb. 19. A man arrived at the residence and started to bang on the victim's back door but fled the scene once he was confronted by the victim, according to State Police. The man was taken into custody by police and while in custody allegedly assaulted a State Trooper, according to State Police. The man was restrained and taken to Media Barracks, according to State Police.
Retail Theft—Sears at the Granite Run Mall at about 2:55 p.m. on Feb. 15. A 51-year-old Philadelphia man took a $250 coat from the store and left without paying, according to State Police. The store's loss prevention officers apprehended the man and turned him over to State Police.
Retail Theft—Boscov's at the Granite Run Mall at about 4 p.m. on Feb. 14. A 57-year-old Philadelphia woman was seen leaving the store with about $400 worth of merchandise, without paying, according to State Police. The woman was arrested and charged.
Theft by Unlawful Taking—Williamson Trade School between 6:45 and 8:45 p.m. on Feb. 11. A wallet and an iPhone 4S were stolen from an upstairs locker room at the school's Restell Center, according to State Police.
Vandalism—Williamson Trade School at about 1:28 a.m. on Feb. 7. Unknown persons shot paintballs at the administration building and the transportation building, according to State Police. BB holes were also found in a window and a clock, according to State Police.
