Each was honored at the March 21 legislative meeting.
"It's amazing what good teachers can do for a district, and how kids respond to these great teachers that we have, and obviously the state is now recognizing this fact." Board of School Directors President John Hanna said. "I wish you all the best of luck in the ongoing competition."

David Woods is truly an exceptional teacher who fosters critical, outside the box thinking! He ignites the imagination and curiosity of his students, particularly in the sciences. My daughter,Katie, is fortunate to be in his class. She is progressing well because she applies herself and David really believes in her ability to reach her full potential, as he does with every student entrusted to him. Thanks for what you do and good luck, David!
Take care!
