I understand your questions and why they are important. I do not understand your conclusion that "This is shady." I suspect the authorities are seeking or have answers to your questions.

The media is trying to assist in locating a missing teen, and no matter why she is missing, it is important that she be found. As for her possible of medical attention it could be related to her description – 5 feet 1 inch tall and 175 lbs. Maybe she is diabetic or has some other physical problem that requires regular medication. maybe not.

All I know is that if she were my daughter I would want her found.

When an Amber Alert is issued it's real or should they get on the Missing & Exploited list they are pretty sure it a "real event"!

Just to be clear: this is not an Amber Alert.

Certain conditions have to be met in order for an Amber Alert to be issued. Patch chose to report this case, even though an Amber Alert had not been issued, because it was posted to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and Chester County sent out an alert through its emergency alert system.

We hope Angela can be returned home safely, and Patch readers may be able to help with that.
