Blotter: Employee Throws High Heels at Manager

The Charlotte Russe employee also knocked over several mannequins during the argument.

 

The following Middletown and Edgmont township incidents have been supplied by the Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks. Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call police at 484-840-1000. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Simple AssaultCharlotte Russe at Granite Run Mall at about 10:39 a.m. on Dec. 30. A 23-year-old employee at the store got into an argument with the store's manager over her lack of work hours, according to State Police. The 23-year-old woman began cursing and throwing merchandise around the store and then threw several pairs of women's high heel shoes at the manager, according to State Police. As the woman was leaving the store she also knocked over several mannequins, according to State Police. The woman was arrested in the parking lot, after leaving the store, according to State Police. Charges are pending in District Court.

Retail TheftBoscov's at Granite Run Mall at about 2:44 p.m. on Dec. 29. Zieneb Mohammed, 51, of Darby, was charged in connection with retail theft for allegedly taking a ring and a knit hat and scarf from the store without paying, according to State Police. Charges were filed in District Court 32-2-48.

Theft from Motor VehicleWeathers Motors between Dec. 27 and 28. Unknown persons arrived at the parking lot and removed a spare wheel from a 2012 Jeep Wrangler parked in the dealership lot, according to State Police.

Has the name of the assailant in the Granite Run Mall shoe store case been released? It seems like it should be included in the story.
