Dominic’s Hand Carved Roast Beef & Roast Pork opened its doors at Granite Run Mall on Feb. 27.

Dominic’s serves up hand-carved roast beef and roast pork, draft beer and wine.

Owner Daniel Malatesta, who had retired from now-closed Lotsa Pasta & Pub in Clifton Heights, couldn't stay away from the restaurant business.

After about a year of retirement, he decided to open a new restaurant, which is named after his late father.

Dominic’s is located inside the mall near Sears. They are open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., except on Sundays when they close at 6 p.m. with the rest of the mall.
