Local Episcopal Academy Student Named National Merit Finalist
Episcopal Academy announces 10 National Merit finalists.
Episcopal Academy recently announced its 10 National Merit semifinalists are now among 15,000 finalists from across the country, including a local Media student.

These students will continue in the competition for 8,300 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million, according to an EA press release.
From March through mid-June, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) will announce those finalists who have been selected to receive one of three Merit Scholarship awards. They are National Merit $2,500 scholarships, corporate-sponsored merit scholarship awards, and college-sponsored merit scholarship awards.
More than half of the finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship, earning the Merit Scholar title.
