Roof and structural construction at Media Elementary continues to stay on track and is expected to be completed in time for the 2013-14 school year.

In March 2012, the district announced that the Media Elementary School roof was in need of repair and the students and staff relocated to the former Nativity BVM School for this school year while construction is being done.

The structural steel work is nearly completed with a few minor details to be finished, Capital Project Manager Dennis Cini said at Thursday's Rose Tree Media Board of School Directors meeting.

With the steel completion, the interior renovations can begin, he said. The framing, plumbing, HVAC and electrial work are all on schedule.

"We are on track to complete by the end of May," Cini said. "We are good to go."
