Media Police released surveillance photos of a man who stole a bracelet from a State Street jewelry store.

responded to at approximately 10:36 a.m. on Dec. 23 for a report of a theft that had just occurred, according to Media Police. 

An investigation revealed that a white man in his late 20’s or early 30’s, between 6'1" to 6'3" tall, with a medium to stocky build, wearing a green Philadelphia Eagles fleece, grey sweat pants, and a gray or green baseball hat walked into the store at approx 10:15 a.m., police said.

The man left the store without taking anything but then returned and walked around the Plum Street mall area. Then at 10:30 a.m., the same man returned to the store and ran out of the door with a gold bracelet that the clerk had taken out of the case to show him, police said.

The man was last seen running east on State Street, then north on Plum Street toward Jasper Street, possibility to a waiting vehicle.

Attached are photos of the man walking back and forth near Golden Impulse then fleeing in the Plum Street mall near Seven Stones Cafe.
