St. John Chrysostom Appeals Merger Location

St. John Chrysostom appeals the Blue Ribbon Commission's recommendation to close the school and merge with Nativity BVM at its Media facility, according to The Delaware County Daily Times.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia last week for parish and school administrators who want to appeal the Blue Ribbon Commission's recommendation of a closure, partnership or regionalization for their school.

St. John Chrysostom in Wallingford is set to appeal the Commission's recommendation to close the school and merge with at the Media facility, according to The Delaware County Daily Times.

St. John Chrysostom is not appealing the merger but appealing the move to the Media facility, according to the Times, saying their facility is better equipped for the merger over Nativity's facility. 

Nativity BVM's prinicipal did not return an immediate request for comment. There was no word yet as to whether Nativity will appeal it's Blue Ribbon recommendation.
