State Police Blotter: 2 Men Cited for Dumping Tires in Woods

Here is a list of recent incidents in Middletown and Edgmont townships reported by the Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks. Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call police at 484-840-1000. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.
Disorderly Conduct—Elwyn School at about 12:47 p.m. on Jan. 31. Two 14-year-old boys threw furniture and school supplies in a classroom, according to State Police. The boys continued in to the hallway and tore down artwork and tiles, according to State Police. The school chose not to press charges.
Criminal Mischief—Bortondale Road between Jan. 29 and 31. Unknown persons spray painted the victim's driveway, tree and rock, according to State Police. The graffiti consisted of an anarchy symbol, "420" and other unidentifiable tags, according to State Police.
Scattering Rubbish—Wooded area near Constance Drive at about 4:28 p.m. on Jan. 28. A 21-year-old man and 19-year-old man, both of Media, were cited with scattering rubbish after police found the men dumping tires in the woods, according to State Police.
Retail Theft—Claire's Store at Granite Run Mall at about 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 28. A 15-year-old Glenolden woman attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise, according to State Police. The woman was arrested and cited with a non-traffic citation and released, according to State Police.
Theft from Motor Vehicle—Wilson Avenue between Jan. 28 and 29. Unknown persons entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and stole an assortment of power tools, according to State Police.
Theft-Fraud/Forgery—Springhouse Lane on Jan 6. An unknown person took and used the victim's debit card number to make fraudulent Internet purchases, according to State Police.
