Super Wawa 'Concept Plan' Proposed for Media
Wawa developers brought a concept plan before Media Borough Council's Community Design Committee, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.
There has been much speculation about a possible Super Wawa being constructed in Media Borough.
All Things Media, Pa. website, discussed it a few months back and borough residents also voiced their opinions on the possibility from time to time.
According to the Delaware County Daily Times, Wawa developers have brought a concept plan before Media Borough Council's Community Design Committee recently.
Wawa, headquartered in Middletown Township, began construction on its first Florida stores last year so why not expand in its own backyard.
Wawa provided borough council with information and asked for the same so they could proceed with a proposed retail store and gas station at a vacant lot bordered by State Street, Providence Road and Baltimore Avenue, according to the Times.
Many steps need to be taken before even an official proposal is presented.

Yes- only if it is not an eyesore- maybe they could do something creative with the exterior to add to our "hometown charm"? we certainly could use lower gas prices in the borough, although I hope that does not put the existing stations out of business.

The existing gas stations would have to lower their prices, I live here but I don't buy gas here, I drive to Wawa in Brookhaven. Having a super wawa would be so convenient.
