Wawa Proposal Raises Traffic Concerns in Edgmont
Wawa representatives have presented a sketch proposal for a store and gas station at Landmark Drive and Providence Road.
Wawa representatives recently presented a sketch proposal in a joint meeting with the Edgmont Planning Commission and Township Supervisors.
Wawa has presented a concept plan, meaning no action will be taken, for a proposed store and gas station at the Landmark Drive property off of Providence Road near West Chester Pike in Edgmont Township.
Traffic was the main point of discussion at the joint meeting, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.
Creating a loop road was presented as an option to ease the traffic flow, as currently Providence Road would be the only access point to the Wawa, according to the Delco Times.
Wawa reps also suggest the widening of portions of Providence Road.
