Shelle and Jack Houser have been voted Media Patch's Cutest Couple after a weekend of voting.

It was a very tight race, winning the bragging rights by just one vote. (Marla and Jenn were the runner up).

The Housers have been married for three and half years and have two boys, 1-year-old Hunter and 10-year-old Archer.

The couple met on an online dating website in 2006, unaware that they actually had several friends in common.

They were soon engaged and arrived in Media in 2007 and married shortly after that in a pirate-themed wedding in October 2008.

"We absolutely love it here," Jack Houser says. "We plan on staying at least until both boys are done school, but probably even beyond that."

The Media Arts Council and Transition Town Media are just a few of the things that keep the Houser's busy in their community.
