Malvern Fire Company responded to a basement fire at a home on the 200 block of Woodland Avenue in Malvern Borough monday morning. The resident of the home climbed out the second-story window onto the roof to escape the smoke. Neighbors propped up a ladder for him to get down. (Dec. 17, 2012)
