Most Media Patch municipal buildings will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on both Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 and 23.

Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for area municipalities over Thanksgiving:

Edgmont Township—Administrative offices will be closed both Thursday and Friday. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler.

Media Borough—Administrative offices will be closed both Thursday and Friday. Trash will not be collected on Thursday or Friday, Nov. 22-23. Collection will return to regular schedule the following week. Click here for more information on the leaf collection schedule.

Middletown Township—Administrative offices will be closed both Thursday and Friday. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private hauler. The regular Area 1 recycling collection on Thursday, Nov. 22 will occur on Friday, Nov. 23 and the regular Area 1 recycling collection on Friday will occur on Saturday, Nov. 24. 

Upper Providence Township—Administrative offices will be closed both Thursday and Friday. Trash and recycling will not be collected on Thursday, Nov. 22. If your collection falls on that day, it will be picked up on the next scheduled collection day.
