Woman Provided Alcohol to Minor, Police Say

Also, a woman was arrested in connection with a retail theft at Boscov's, police say.

Retail Theft—Boscov's at the Granite Run Mall at about 1:27 p.m. on March 25. A 35-year-old Norwood woman was arrested in connection with a retail theft, according to State Police. Charges were filed in District Court 32-2-48.

Liquor Law-Furnish to Minor—1400 block of W. Baltimore Pike at about 11:03 p.m. on March 23. A 33-year-old Philadelphia woman was seen entering the driveway of an unoccupied building, according to State Police. Open alcohol containers were observed in the vehicle and upon further investigation it was determined that the woman had provided alcohol to a 17-year-old Holmes woman, according to State Police. A search of the vehicle found a small amount of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to the report. Charges will be filed in District Court 32-2-48.

One-Vehicle Crash—Mount Alverno Road near Iris Lane at about 1:50 p.m. on March 9. A Honda Accord, driven by an 18-year-old Broomall man, drove into a left hand curve at a high rate of speed, lost control and left the roadway, according to State Police. The undercarriage of the Honda collided with dead trees, dirt and other debris at the roadside and was wedged under the vehicle, according to State Police. No one was injured and the driver received a citation, according to State Police.
