International Ballet Classique (IBC) of Media is pleased to announce their participation in Delaware County's first Dance Festival.
Ms. Josie Singer Executive Director of AIB said, "It is with great pleasure that we join other regional dance schools on August 2 at this lovely theatre in Media to share the joys of dance with our many communities. Our dancers know that ballet is a special kind of dance that blends movement with music, art and drama, and awakens emotions in us, gives a 'soul' to movement and leaves us captive".
Included in the performance will be the Midora Variation from "Le Corsaire"Ballet featuring Natalia SanAntonio; Escalade featuring Nicole Handy; Aurora Variation from "Sleeping Beauty" Ballet featuring Kelsey Tierney;Tango featuring McKenna Sing; Odalisque Variation from "Le Corsaire" Ballet featuring Natalie Handy;'Tempest featuring Esmiani Jani; and "La Fille Mal Gardee" featuring Andrea Olazagasti and Leonid Goykhman.
The festival is sponsored by the Media Theatre under the direction of the Theatre's Artistic Director Jesse Cline.

More About Media Theatre
The Media Theatre is a professional theatre located in the heart of Media Borough right across from the Media Elementary School. It maintains an association with Actors Equity Association based in Manhattan, and has AEA professional actors in each of its Broadway Series productions from September through May each season. Each production has a live orchestra. Tony winning performers Betty Buckley, Judy Kaye, and David Miller (of Il Divo) have appeared on Media Theatre's stage, as well as Tony nominees Ann Crumb and Philip Boykin.
The theatre also has a year round School of the Theatre for ages 5 and up, including adults, as well as a summer camp and Teen Musical Production each summer. Its New School is a conservatory-style education program for children and teens. Visit the website provided for more information.
