The Media Theatre’s annual Gala, a premiere fundraiser for the professional music theatre, will feature American Idol and Broadway star Justin Guarini in a special one-night-only concert Saturday February 23.
Guarini received rave reviews for his performances in Broadway's "American Idiot" and "Women on The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown". His portrayal of Billy Flynn in The Media Theatre's "Chicago" in 2011 was critically acclaimed, as was his recent leading role in "It's A Wonderful Life" at Bucks County Playhouse.
His concert on Feb. 23 will be the highlight of an evening that also features a Meet & Greet reception with the star, plus live and silent auctions.
The concert is directed by The Media Theatre's Artistic Director Jesse Cline.

More About Media Theatre
The Media Theatre is a professional theatre located in the heart of Media Borough right across from the Media Elementary School. It maintains an association with Actors Equity Association based in Manhattan, and has AEA professional actors in each of its Broadway Series productions from September through May each season. Each production has a live orchestra. Tony winning performers Betty Buckley, Judy Kaye, and David Miller (of Il Divo) have appeared on Media Theatre's stage, as well as Tony nominees Ann Crumb and Philip Boykin.
The theatre also has a year round School of the Theatre for ages 5 and up, including adults, as well as a summer camp and Teen Musical Production each summer. Its New School is a conservatory-style education program for children and teens. Visit the website provided for more information.
