For students brand new to the world of Salsa, this 8-week Beginner I course starts with the basics! Students learn the basic steps and techniques for Salsa, as well as “shine” moves and styling.
This course is designed to give students a strong foundation, the fundamentals of leading and following, and a simple pattern. Students will rotate and experience dancing with everyone. Classes are offered 3x/week for familiarity/repetition and practice.
Fun and fitness friendly- come fall in love with Salsa! Students with “two left feet” are more than welcome!

Salsa in the Suburbs is a fitness and party services company. The studio is located in the basement of the brick Rose Tree Professionals Building, where it hosts private lessons and classes. Instruction is available for beginner and intermediate Salsa programs, Merengue, Bachata, night club style Cha Cha, performance classes, Zumba classes and belly dance programs. The company also offers Salsa parties and special events, including girls’ night out, house parties, cocktail parties, bootcamps and more. DJ services are available for all types of occasions, and the studio is available to rent.
