Middletown Planning Board to Consider Conditional Use Tuesday in Media

Read about some of the things happening Tuesday in Media.

  • Government: Middletown Township Planning Commission meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 13. The commission will consider a conditional use application/amendment of permitting a campus mixed use development at Ponds Edge. Find the full agenda here
  • Donate: Red Cross Blood Drives: Concord Liberty Presbyterian Church in Glen Mills from 2 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 13, and Knights of Columbus Newtown Square from 2 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 14. More information here
  • Traffic: Check on your commute on the PennDOT traffic cameras before you leave the house. But the traffic will likely be terrible—it's traffic.
  • Weather: The forecast calls for temperatures to reach the 80s with scattered thunderstorms. Things are expected to cool down in the evening and become partly cloudy. 
  • History: Per the History Channel, on this day in 1961, Berlin was divided and in 1982 the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High debuted.
