Glenwood Rocks Summer Reading!

Glenwood’s students participated enthusiastically in our summer reading program.  At the end of school in June, each student received a grade-level list of suggested summer reading titles, a reading record form, and a bookmark from librarian Kathy Cook.  As students turned in their completed forms in September, they received a prize.  The reading records have been used to compile “Top Ten” lists of children’s favorites by grade level, posted on the bulletin board outside the library.

A special award was given to the student in each grade who read the most books over the summer.  These students read the most books in their grade levels:  Kathryn Loeper, grade 1; Kylie Keinath, grade 2; Gavin Loeper, grade 3; Julia Biordi, grade 4; and Brian Loeper, grade 5.
