International Day of Peace at Rose Tree

The fourth grade students at Rose Tree Elementary School in the Rose Tree Media School District celebrated the International Day of Peace on Friday, September 20. The celebration began with a grade level gathering in the form of a peace sign.  Students sang and pledged to be peacemakers at school, in their homes, and in their communities. In addition, the fourth graders participated in a read aloud, created a peace display for the school hallway, and wrote poems describing their understanding of peace.
