Michael M. Meloy of Swarthmore received recognition from Best Lawyers 2014 in the area of Environmental Law

Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP is proud to announce that partner and Swarthmore resident Michael M. Meloy received recognition by his peers in the area of Environmental Law for inclusion in the 2014 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® (“Best Lawyers” – [Copyright 2013 by Woodward/White, Inc., Aiken, S.C].)Corporate Counsel Magazine has called Best Lawyers® “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.” Since it was first published in 1983,“Best Lawyers” has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence.

Inclusion in Best Lawyers® is based entirely on peer review. The methodology is designed to capture, as accurately as possible, the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.  Voting lawyers are all asked the same question, “If you were unable to take a case yourself, how likely would you be to refer it to this nominee?” Lawyers are asked to give nominees numerical grades ranging from 5-1 (5 being for a lawyer the voter would definitely refer a case to and 1 for an attorney they would definitely not refer a case to).

MGKF concentrates its practice in environmental, energy, and land use law and litigation. It represents clients ranging from Fortune 100 corporations to small, privately held enterprises, both in the Mid-Atlantic region and on a national basis.  MGKF is honored to be the top-rated law firm, since 2011, in the Top Workplaces surveys by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com.
