National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Mid-Atlantic Chapter Announces Election of New Officers and Board of Governors

PHILADELPHIA – The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the election of new leaders to its Executive Committee and Board of Governors. The board consists of renowned media professionals from broadcast, public broadcasting & cable television that bring their expertise and education to their respective positions. The new members will help lead the organization toward successful advancement and promotion of the arts and sciences of television.
The following are current officers that were re-elected to a one-year term who will continue through the upcoming year (2014-2015):
• President – David Solomon, Executive Producer of Local Production, WQED-TV
• Vice President – Michelle Bradsher, Director of Marketing and Communications, Melmark
• Treasurer – John Mussoni, Managing Editor of Delaware, WHYY-TV and Newsworks.org
• Secretary – Courtney Brinkerhoff, CBR Productions
The following have been elected to serve on the Board of Governors and will serve a two-year term (2014-2016):
• Tom Curra, Executive Vice President and Executive Producer, WVIA Public Media
• Jim DePury, News Director, WBRE-TV
• Cara Fry, Vice President of Television Production, WITF-TV
• Berlinda Garnett, Producer, Fox 29 Television
• Dana Heberling, Senior Editor and Designer, Philadelphia Eagles
• Eric Heisler, Photojournalist, WHTM-TV
• Mike Ingalls, Managing Editor, NBC Philadelphia
• Rob Kuestner, Assistant News Director, Comcast SportsNet
• Doug Johnson, Vice President and Executive Producer, ROOT Sports
• Carrie Moniot, Student Media Advisor, Robert Morris University
• Alex Marcelewski, Digital Media Manager, WTAE-TV
