Read for Ronald at Rose Tree Elementary School

Ronald McDonald recently visited Rose Tree Elementary School to kick off the annual Read for Ronald Fundraiser for the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House.  During an assembly, Ronald entertained the children while teaching them about the importance of reading and all that we can learn through books.

All students received special packets with information about the program when Ronald McDonald visited the school earlier in January.  February is the official Read for Ronald month.   The money raised through Read for Ronald goes to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House where families of seriously ill children stay while their children get treatment at hospitals in the area.

Every child who participates in the 76ers Read for Ronald Program will help another family stay at the Ronald McDonald House.
