Riddle Hospital Medical Staff Elect William Ayers, MD as President

The Riddle Hospital Medical Staff has elected William H. Ayers Jr, MD, FACS, to serve as President of the Medical Staff for a two year term. Dr Ayers, a general surgeon, has been a member of the Medical Staff since 1984. He currently serves as Campus Chief of the Department of Surgery at Riddle Hospital, and is the Medical Director of the Riddle Hospital Comprehensive Breast Center.

 

A native of Drexel Hill in Delaware County, Dr Ayers attended Archmere Academy and completed his undergraduate studies at Villanova University. He earned his MD degree at The Medical College of Pennsylvania. He is board certified in General Surgery, having completed a surgical internship at George Washington University, and his general surgery residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center.

Other elected physicians include: Pierre Y. Ghayad, MD to serve as Vice President; Trina L. Bradburd, DO and Sean A. Wright, MD will be At-Large Representatives to the Medical Executive Committee of Main Line Health; Ashima Lall, MD, Neerav R. Mehta, MD and Brian S. Wojciechowski, MD will serve as At-Large Representatives to the Medical Operations Committee of Riddle Hospital.
