In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, area residents are looking for ways to help our neighbors to the North and West. Below is a list of local Media Patch locations that are collecting items to send to New Jersey and New York.

- Lenni Heights Fire Company: Hurricane Sandy Donation Drive and Bonfire to be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 6 to 9pm. The event is hosted by Delco Fire Rescue News and fire companies from around the county are involved.
- Granite Run Mall: Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. the mall will hold a second collection effort in the Route 1 parking lot. Please Note: this collection spot is no longer accepting clothes, coats, hats, and scarves. All donations will go to Queens, NY in areas such as: Howard Beach, Broad Channel and Rockaways.
- UPDATE: The mall's earlier Nov. 6, collection effort, filled 11 Flexbox’s in total, with right Flexbox’s being delivered to the Huguenot Lodge on Staten Island, NY and three Flexbox’s being delivered to the Tuckerton Elementary School in Tuckerton, NJ.
- Earth & State teams up with Stephanie Massimini Acupuncture & Hometown Wellness and Chiropractic Center: Ongoing donation location. Donations will be taken to Evolution Martial Arts in Toms River, NJ where items will be distributed to locals in need. Continual runs to New Jersey will be made as items are donated. Drop items at either location. UPDATE: Due to overwhelming response, please drop off donations at either location on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A big donation will also be held on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 300 W. State Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. by the rear entrance.
