In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, area residents are looking for ways to help our neighbors to the North and West. Below is a list of local Media Patch locations that are collecting items to send to New Jersey and New York.

Please add to the comments section if you know of a place collection relief items.

Carole, Thank you for your donation and that great compliment. It was a great day because of people like you. With a great cause and great people, it wasn't a job, it was what life should be about.

Make the dollars go further! Look to the Dollar Stores, Jack's, etc. The dollars will go A LOT further and they have so many supplies that everyone needs - the same supplies you will find at stores like Kmart, Target, Walmart, CVS, etc. With so many people, we need the volume too! $100 dollars will go a lot further. My thoughts go out to everyone. Robin
