Leaf Collection Schedules For Media Patch

Leaf collection starts later this month.

Autumn is here and the changing fall colors will soon fill your yard. It's time to get those rakes out. Below you will find a leaf collection schedule for Media Borough, Middletown, Upper Providence and Edgmont townships. 

Media Borough

  • Put bagged leaves in earth bags or plastic bags, curbside every regular scheduled trash day during leaf season.

  • Monday and Thursday Trash Collection Days
        • October 21 to October 25
        • November 4 to November 8
        • November 18 to November 22
        • December 2 to December 6
        • Tuesday and Friday Trash Collection
              • October 28 to November 1
              • November 12 to November 15
              • November 25 to November 27
              • December 9 to December 13
              Middletown Township
              • Leaf collection runs from Oct. 21 through Dec. 6
              • No loose leaves will be collected.
              • Leaves will only be collected in biodegradable paper bags.
              • Purchase bags at the township building, Linvilla Orchards, or Wolff’s Apple House at a price of $2.50 for a bundle of five bags.
              • Place bags curbside, and Public Works will make weekly pick up sweeps through the township. No need to call for a pick up.
              • Do not overfill bags, keep weight under 40 pounds per bag and fold the top of the bag down; do not tape or seal the bag shut.
              • No sticks, stones, grass clippings, trash or other contaminants may be mixed with the bagged leaves.

              Upper Providence Township
              • Collection begins first Wednesday in October through the end of December
              • Place leaves curbside in approved paper compostable, biodegradable bags

              Edgmont Township
              • Check with your private trash hauler
