Media Man Marries St. Annie's Teacher

You saw the proposal video last year when St. Annie's students helped the groom.

The Delaware County couple, who were engaged outside of St. Anastasia's School last year, celebrated their nuptials on Saturday.

With their family, friends, seven bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen looking on, Jeff Elko, of Media, and Nicole Nolan, of Havertown, tied the knot at St. Pius X Church in a loving ceremony Saturday afternoon.

In March 2012, Elko proposed to Nolan, a teacher at St. Annie's, with the help of her students and a sign that read, "Miss Nolan, Will You Marry Jeff? (See more on the engagement here and watch the emotional proposal here.)

Following the church ceremony, more than 200 people celebrated the happy couple, who are both 2004 Cardinal O'Hara High School graduates, at their reception at the Hyatt Penn's Landing in Philadelphia.

The hot summer day was filled with joy, some tears, lots of laughter and love.
Elko and Nolan both said how thankful they were to be able to celebrate their special day with all of their family and friends.

The couple will head to Hawaii for their honeymoon.
