Irish Music

  • Why Go: Wear your green and enjoy some Irish music, complete with bagpipes and accordion and of course Irish Potatoes.

Annual St. Patrick's Day Party

  •  Where: Marple Presbyterian Church in Broomall,
  • Why Go: Enjoy an Irish BYOB dinner of corned beef and cabbage and then music "Friends of Eric." Proceeds will benefit Delaware County Homeless.

Willy Wonka

  •  Where: Marple Newtown Senior High School, 120 Media Line Rd, Newtown Square
  • Why Go: The Marple Newtown Performing Arts Center presents Willy Wonka, based on Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” More than 100 cast and crew members will appear in this all-school musical from elementary through high school.
  • Cost: $10 in advance, $12 at the door

Christopher Chocolates Easter Eggs

  • When: Anytime
  • Where: Christopher Chocolates, 3519 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square
  • Why Go: Continuing with the 27 year tradition of making homemade Easter eggs, Christopher Chocolates will  we will write your loved ones' names on their Easter eggs for free.

Philanthropy Expert to Visit Temple Sholom

  • When: Friday, Saturday, Sunday March 15, 16, 17
  • Where:  Temple Sholom in Broomall, 55 Church Ln, Broomall, PA |
  • Why Go: Danny Siegel has been called "The World's Greatest Expert on Micro-Philanthropy" for more than 30 years. He lectures on the topic of personalized Tzedakah and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).

Tea with Betsy Ross

  • When: Saturday, March 16, at 2:30 p.m.
  • Where: 1654 Dekalb Street in Norristown
  • Why Go: Well-known re-enactor and historian, Carol Spacht, will chronicle the history of our nation’s most important symbol. Tea, sandwiches, and desserts will be served.
