Join us for a celebration of the harvest and a colonial muster. In colonial times, a muster was the gathering of local farmers to drill, work, talk about politics and socialize with good food and music. We will have discussions between loyalist and rebels resulting in a small armed conflict.
The women will be working the loom, spinning and processing flax. The men will be working with wood and working in the fields. Tea will be served in the parlor and hearth cooking will take place in the kitchen.
Visit the militia camp and stay for dinner. You are welcome to bring a picnic dinner or purchase food on site. The night concludes with the Bochanski Brothers playing some good old Rock and Roll. Nowhere in our area will you be able find history, food and music like this.
