Sept 4 and again on Sept 8th 2nd Saturday from Media Arts Council the incomprable -

Midnighters are Brian Kors (vocals & guitar) and Jake L'Armand (violin). Brian and Jake have been playing music in the Philadelphia area for the last few years, offering an eclectic set of rhythm & blues, jazz, country & western, cajun, and more. They are available for almost any kind of engagement, and you can catch them this Tuesday at Temaki. Sit back and relax to the original sounds from the Midnighters .

 

Sept 11 Octavia is returning with her wicked blues harmonica and her sultry powerful vocals. There are very few female blues player in the world and she is one of the hottest in the region.

Sept 18 The Dollar Band - Jim Hobson (guitar, mandolin, and vocals), Don Clune (guitar, vocals) and Dave Minnich (upright string bass). We are an all-acoustic band playing old-time and contemporary pieces with rhythmic energy that makes you want to dance. You will not find anything like this in Media... Itws music for all ages that encompasses, bluegrass, rockabilly and folk.

 

Sept 25 Don Evans guitarist, vocalist and recording engineer, has had an incredible career performing and recording with some of the "who's who" in rock'n'roll. Currently living in the Philadelphia area, he continues to perform with a wide variety of musicians in addition to working on his own projects. His eclectic background and years of experience makes Don Evans a unique find amongst the Philadelphia music scene and his creative approach to roots and popular music sets him apart from other guitarists in the area
