Grab & Go Kids Planner: Dinner & Dancing, Charlotte's Web, Irish Fest and More

FAMILY GAME NIGHT

Where/When: at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Why Go: Bring the whole crew to the library for a fun-filled family game night. The library will provide tons of board games and snacks; you provide the players.

DINNER AND DANCING WITH THE KIDS

Where/When: Media Community Center from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
Why Go: Join friends and neighbors for music, dancing, food and fun, featuring live entertainment with children's recording artist Silly Joe. Admission includes pizza, chicken fingers, salad, drinks and dessert.
Pricing: $5 for adults, $2 for children.

CHARLOTTE'S WEB

Where/When:  at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Why Go: Enjoy this lively, interactive musical based on E.B. White's beloved story about the friendship between Charlotte the Spider and Wilbur the Pig. Plus, the kids get to greet their favorite characters and enjoy juice and cookies in the lobby at the end of the show.
Pricing: $11 for adults, $9 for children.


LITTLE TYKES MUSIC

Where/When: Broomall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at 10:15 a.m. every Monday.
Why Go: Enjoy an inter-generational music and movement program that delights both the kids and the "grandmas and grandpas" at the nursing center who get to join in. The program is suggested for ages 5 and under, with their caregivers. For information contact Rachel Kaufman at 610-356-0800.
Pricing: Free, drop-ins welcome.


IRISH FESTIVAL

Where/When: The Creative Living Room at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go: Discover the land of leprechauns and limericks with a festival of traditional music and  dancing, folktales, crafts, food and fun. Young students from the McDade School of Irish Dancing will perform in costume and invite the audience to learn a step or two in this interactive enrichment program fostering cultural appreciation. Crafts, face painting and light refreshments are included.
Pricing: $6 per person, reservations recommended.


ALL CHILDREN'S SALE

Where/When:  from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Why Go: Score some great deals on gently used clothes, shoes, books, toys, maternity clothes, baby equipment, videos, games, sports equipment and more in this bi-annual tag sale of items for infants through size 16.
Pricing: Free to enter.
