Patch Picks: Best Bets for Books

In celebration of Read Across America Day, librarians in the greater Media Patch area suggest five books for both adults and children.

Patch Picks highlights editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off and more.

This week, Media Patch is helping you gear up for Read Across America Day. It is the National Education Association’s reading celebration, which takes place each year on, or near, March 2, the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Across the country, thousands of libraries, schools and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, adults, and books. Media Patch asked a few local librarians for their favorites to help guide you to the perfect read.
