Rose Tree Park Twinkles in Holiday Cheer
Another Christmas tradition in Media brought hundreds together to celebrate the holiday season.
The by the musical talents of the Choir. This is the 35th year is decorated with sparkling trees and colorful displays including toy soldiers, a miniature courthouse, Santa and his sleigh, Frosty the Snowman, and Snoopy and the Peanuts.
Santa Claus arrived and children young and old all had a chance to sit with him and tell Santa what they want for Christmas. Families strolled together through the park as they enjoyed hot chocolate and the beautiful displays. Children ran around the park with excitement and wonder as they explored each display and reveled in the beauty of the lights. It's a must-see this holiday season.
The Festival of Lights for Peace runs nightly until Jan. 2 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and is free to the public.
