Alois Endorsed by Delco Daily Times
Delaware County Daily Times endorses the pro-public education and pro-women's rights candidate.
Beth Alois has been endorsed by the Delaware County Daily Times as the best candidate for State Representative in the 168th District.
The Delco Times endorsement notes that Alois's opponent, "increasingly seems to be doing the bidding of the very conservative wing of the party. He backed the governor’s controversial measure requiring women seeking abortions to get ultrasounds and his recent charter school legislation that, at first glance, would have exempted charter schools from some Right to Know Inquiries."
The Delco Times endorsement continues, saying Alois, "notes Killion’s vote for Corbett’s education budget as damaging to local schools. She urges state funding be restored, and a closer eye be kept on money increasingly being siphoned off by charter schools. ...Tom Killion would be the easy choice in this race, but we’ll back a new voice in Harrisburg, Democrat Beth Alois."
