We were so looking forward to the opening, but we were so disappointed by the meal and service. :(

Since it was their first week open, do you think the kinks are still being ironed out Maria?

The food is not good. They really need to study California-style Mexican cuisine and learn from to make fresh-tasting, well-grilled and well-flavored food. Our fajitas were soggy, soaked in melted cheese, the chicken was not grilled, and the green peppers soggy. Plus the salsa for the chips was tasteless. We were very disappointed!!

I assume the service will get better. (It couldn't have been such worse.) I hope they make major changes to their menu because most of what we tried was just not good. My husbands words were, "they won't be here long". Hopefully they'll do what they need to in order to make things better.

Just came back from the restaurant. We were greeted at the door with "We have a lot of reservations so we are not seating any more people". We ended up going to the bar area. So my first thought is that's not how you want to make your first impression. Why turn away money that's there for money that might come? Then, the waitress could not pronounce nor make a Caipirinha. After that, we decided not to eat here but went to their other tried and true restaurant Picasso's. Overall impression was this is a gringo bar in the worse kind of way. People selling Tequila who know nothing about it. People who cannot make traditional latin drinks. Margaritas were pre-made. Everything looked rushed and massed produced. Even though we did not eat, there are other reviews of the food above that are consistent with my impression. My advice, slow down, get staff who knows the product, get staff who can truly prepare latin food and drinks one at a time. I might check back in a few months to see how it's going.
