Farmer's Market Finds for Sept. 15

Check out our farmer's market feature every week for a list of what you will find at the Media and Edgmont farmer's markets. Both markets are on Thursdays from 3 to 7 p.m.

Unless you braved last week's rain, today is the day to snatch up some of the first apples of the season. You will find many varieties of apples, from multiple vendors. It is supposed to get a bit chilly soon, so consider making soup for dinner, with one of three soups offered by The Mushroom Cafe.

The bi-weekly market vendors are Jack's Jams & Jellies and Market Day Canele. Wine, coffee and soaps will be sold every week for the rest of the market season. Made in the Shade Lemonade will return next week, with apple cider. Zsa's Ice Cream will be next available in October. The gluten-free baked goods vendor has finished for the season.

The is located in the parking lot of Media Theatre, on the corner of State and Gayley streets.
