Frozen Yogurt Shop Opens In Media

Mango's Frozen Yogurt opened on Baltimore Avenue in Media Borough on Saturday.

Media Borough's first, self-serve, frozen yogurt shop opened recently.

is a family-run shop located at 311 E. Baltimore Ave across from the .

According to Mango's website, each cup of yogurt is an individual experience for the customer. The customer can choose between yogurt, custard or sorbet, many toppings and their own quantity, as it's a weigh and pay dining experience.

Currently, there are 16 flavors, plus swirl options, and 30 toppings available. There are cone and cup options and the cost is 49 cents an ounce.

"Every purchase is unique to their wants and desires at that moment," the website states.

Joe and Carolyn Narzikul, of Media, are the owners of Mango's and their niece manager Erika Narzikul said Saturday's opening was a huge success.

"Everything has been crazy," Narzikul said.

She said the store opened on Saturday with a huge line of customers waiting for their first taste of the frozen yogurt and they even stayed open late as customers were calling the store saying they were on their way.

Mango's is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
