1. Women Only Garage Party

When/Where: Friday, March 23 at 7 p.m. at , 1011 W Baltimore Pike in Media

Why Go: Are you a biker chick or interested in motocycles? Join Hannum's Harley in Media from 7 to 9 p.m. All levels of riders and non-riders are welcome. It's a no pressure, fun event for all ladies.

2. Penncrest Presents Notables

Where/When: Friday through Sunday, March 23-25 at 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. in the auditorium, 134 Barren Road in Media.

Why Go: Penncrest students and students from all four RTM elementary schools, perform in a revue of selections from Broadway musicals including The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Hairspray, and Spring Awakening, among others.

3. New York On Your Own

When/Where: Saturday, March 24 at 8 a.m. at , 27 N Pennell Rd in Media

Why Go: See a Broadway show, go shopping, people watch or just walk the city streets. Do whatever you'd like in New York City but take a bus together. Leaves and returns to Granite Run Mall.

4. Alexander Iziliaev Teaches a Master Class in Ballet

When/Where:  Saturday, March 24, 10 a.m. to noon at , 300 S Pennell Rd in Media

Why Go: Alexander Iziliaev will teach a Master Class in Ballet at the International Ballet Classique of Media. Iziliaev has danced principal roles in George Balanchine's Prodigal Son, Raymonda Variations, Agon, Serenade, The Nutcracker and Western Symphony, among many others. Students will have the opportunity to learn from a master in this Master Class.

5. Teen Town Hall Meeting: Spring Awakening Issues

Where/When: Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at , 104 E State St in Media

Why Go:  A panel discussion/group forum for parents and teens, based on issues relevant to youth that are a part of the Tony winning musical Spring Awakening. Issues of sexuality, teen pregnancy, first love, alternative lifestyles and more will be discussed. Panelists include Dr. Betsy Crane (Director of Human Sexuality at Widener University), Radnor High School Principal Mark Shellenger, Strath Haven High School's Mark Shankweiler, Artistic Director Jesse Cline, and actor Jack Raymond (who plays Moritz in Media Theatre's production of the musical running April 18 through May 20)

6. Promalicious Prom Expo

When/Where:  Sunday, March 25 at noon at 76 Industrial Hwy in Essington

Why Go: Come see the latest trends in fashion, entertainment and music. Visit vendors and watch a fashion show. The event will bring awareness to Melanoma and the Melanoma Foundation, as well as raise money and funds for a sponsored Prom for St. Christopher’s Hospital. Don't forget to donate a gently used prom dress to be given to The Fairy Godmother, Inc., which gives the dresses to less fortunate kids so they too can go to their Prom in style.
