Is there a kids’ menu? For children they can do grilled cheese and pasta with either butter or marinara sauce. That being said, tapas can be really fun for kids because they can try so many different things. I would suggest the bunuelos de bacalao (cod fritters), croquetas de jamon serrano (ham fritters), papas fritas (french fries with 3 sauces) and maybe the tortilla espagniola (if your kids love eggs).

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? From the list above, the pasta with marinara and the tortilla espagniola are the healthiest items.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Alert your server and they will try to accommodate you as best they can.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? Depends on how filled the dining room is.
