Looking for a good restaurant to go to this weekend?

Media Patch brought you the details of  Thursday. A savvy and creative would-be comedian is the mind behind the menu at this restaurant in downtown Media. Click for chef and owner Davi Demming's hilarious comments in this week's Meet the Chef.

If that restaurant isn’t to your liking, check out other area restaurants that Patch reviewed this week:

Kotatsu: 36 Greenfield Avenue Ardmore, PA 19003

A Japanese steakhouse with sushi bar and Chinese offerings, this place really does have something for everyone. There isn’t much variety on the sushi and sashimi dinner, though. Click for the review.

Gladwyne Village Lunch: 951 Youngs Ford Road Gladwyne, PA 19035

Tucked away from street view, this little gem serves breakfast and lunch to the lucky locals who have been coming here for years. Try the chicken salad sandwich with bacon. Click for the review.

A menu so vast the print is nearly microscopic to fit it all in. One of the largest and most delicious spinach calzones I've ever had calls this place home. Click for the review.

A man who has family in Northern China but grew up in Canton Province in Southern China, Jun Fun Ding learned the ins and outs of cooking in a Hong Kong restaurant, then brought his talents to America and was the chef at his own restaurant within four years. Click for the Meet the Chef.

A delicious burger, fantastic fresh salads, amazing macaroni and cheese and a smile-worthy carrot cake are the standouts at this neighborhood spot. Click for the review.

A guy who roasts his own coffee beans, makes his own wine, gardens, reads and more is the proud owner/father/husband of Gryphon Café. Click for the Meet the Chef.
