Delco Estates Lawyer Dawn Getty Sutphin Nominated for Public Service Series

Delaware County, PA estates attorney Dawn Getty Sutphin, Esquire was recently nominated to the Class of 2014 of the Anne B. Anstine Excellence in Public Service Series, annual professional leadership program. Delaware County Chairman Andrew Reilly nominated Sutphin for the program.

The Anstine Series provides Republican women representing all regions of Pennsylvania with the background, skill set and network to assume decision-making positions at all levels of government, in the community and in the party structure. The Series’ mission is to prepare talented women to be more effective leaders in government, politics, and in the community. 

Executive program participants undergo intensive training sessions over nine months to gain information, tools and skills to enhance their civic and political participation. Each has a goal to increase their level of involvement in public life as party leaders, elected or appointed officials, as grassroots activists, and/or as community leaders.

Among her professional activities, Sutphin is a Republican Committee Woman in Prospect Park, PA (Delaware County) and a member of the Delaware County Bar Association. She is also a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations.

Sutphin received her law degree from Widener University School of Law and her B.S. degree, Phi Kappa Phi, from Pennsylvania State University. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
