Financially Hers: A Money Management Program for Women

A series of four programs on money management for women will be held at the Lansdowne Library, open to all county residents.

The Lansdowne Public Library and the Library Foundation of Delaware County are pleased to announce that the Lansdowne Public Library will be offering free, woman-oriented money management lessons through a four-week program that empowers women to identify the personal motivations and beliefs that influence how they manage their finances.

This program was developed by and will be presented by CLARIFI formerly CCCS of Delaware Valley.

“Unlocking the Mystery; the Why behind the Buy” which will help you understand what drives your money decisions so you can put together a spending plan to meet your financial goals;

How to Run Your Household like a Business” which will teach you different strategies for managing your expenses and meeting your financial goals;

Find out what's happening in Mediawith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Give Yourself (Good) Credit” which will teach you how to obtain and understand a credit report so you improve your credit; and

Investigate Investing: Learn how to Save” in which you will learn the basics of investing in the stock market, bonds and mutual funds and you will examine how your risk tolerance affects how you handle money.

All programs will be held at the Lansdowne Public Library at 55 S. Lansdowne Ave., Lansdowne.  The programs will be each Wednesday in March at 7 p.m. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
