County Officials, Medal of Honor Recipients Guest Bartend at Fundraiser

Congressional Medal of Honor recipients and local law enforcement officials were guest bartenders recently to benefit Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan and the District Attorney's Criminal Investigation Division Chief Joseph Ryan stand with Medal of Honor Recipient Tom Norris at the second annual “Gathering of Heroes” fundraiser, which raises money for the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation.

Norris, along with four other Congressional Medal of Honor recipients, traveled to Philadelphia to take on the happy hour crowd as guest bartenders at both Irish Pubs on Feb. 29.

Top law enforcement officers, local celebrities and some very special VIPs poured drinks and swaped stories alongside the legendary soldiers, while all tips, T-shirt proceeds and charity auction items benefitted the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation (MC-LEF).
