Did You Feel the Earthquake?

The United State Geological Survey (USGD) reports that a 5.8 magnitude earthquake hit at 1:51 p.m. Tuesday about 27 miles from Charlottesville, Va.

Numerous people in the greater just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Debra Grosso said her couch and tables were moving in Middletown Township. 

Karen Ann said she felt it in Springfield Township at the time. 

Ellen Morfei said she missed it possibly because the rumble of her four kids and a puppy was rumble enough. 

Earth and State owners reported on Facebook that they missed it as they vacation at the beach.

Country Squire Diner in Broomall reported that the whole restaurant shook. 

The Delaware County SPCA reported that they felt the shaking and all the animals are OK there. 

Front Street Fountain restaurant reported on Facebook that they didn't feel the earthquake because the new restaurant is "indestructible."
